Your privacy is a priority for us

EUROPE MEDIA S.R.L., with registered office in Milan, Via Monte Napoleone 8, registered with the Companies Register of Milan Monza Brianza Lodi, tax code and VAT number 09156800964, email: info@europemediagroup.eu, PEC: europemediasrl@legalmail.it, as Data Controller, informs you that, in compliance with applicable legislation, any processing of your personal data will be based on principles of fairness, lawfulness, and transparency.
Pursuant to and for the purposes of Article 13 of European Regulation 679/2016 (GDPR), the following information is provided.

PURPOSES OF PROCESSING

The processing will concern the data provided directly by the data subject when filling out the “Contact” form, specifically: first name, last name, telephone number, email address, user IP (as well as any additional data that the data subject decides to provide by filling out the form), and will be carried out using electronic means to respond to requests for information and/or quotes submitted by the data subject.
Upon explicit consent of the data subject, personal data may be processed for sending discounts, promotions, and other advertising material (so-called direct marketing) concerning the Controller’s services, via newsletter and private messaging systems (e.g., WhatsApp).

LEGAL BASES FOR PROCESSING

The legal basis that makes the processing consisting of responding to the information request lawful is the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at the request of the data subject.
Subscription to the newsletter will instead take place only upon explicit consent expressed by the data subject.

NATURE OF THE PROVISION OF DATA

The provision of data for the aforementioned purposes is optional; failure to provide such data will result in the impossibility of responding to requests made and sending commercial communications, respectively, without any repercussion on the regular execution of any existing contractual relationship.

COMMUNICATION OF PERSONAL DATA

The processing will be carried out exclusively by the Controller, or in any case by authorized and specifically trained personnel. The collected data, where necessary or instrumental for the execution of the indicated purposes, may be processed by third parties appointed as external Data Processors, including companies that perform services connected to the execution of the above-indicated purposes (including: website hosting and newsletter management companies).
The updated list of external data processors can be consulted by contacting the data controller via email at info@europemediagroup.it
Data may be transferred outside the EU, and specifically to the USA, from the moment you may be contacted via WhatsApp messaging. In any case, the transfer will take place on the basis of the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission on June 4, 2021.
Save for the above, your data will not be transferred outside the EU.

RETENTION PERIOD

Personal data will be stored only until the purpose of responding to the information requests submitted has been fulfilled.
Data processed for direct marketing purposes will be processed until the revocation of consent, and in any case, considering the type of goods and services sold by the controller, for a maximum period of two years from the relative collection (to be understood as the period in which an interest in receiving advertising communications is presumed to exist) and/or from the confirmation of consent, in the event that the data subject expresses the wish to continue receiving the aforementioned communications even after the two-year period has elapsed.

RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT

Except for the cases referred to in Article 23 concerning legal obligations, public interest, or the exercise of official authority, the Data Subject may exercise against the data controller the rights provided for in Articles 15-22:

Confirmation of whether or not personal data concerning them is being processed, and, if so, obtaining access to it (right of access) art. 15;
Rectification of inaccurate personal data, or completion of incomplete personal data (right of rectification) art. 16;
Erasure of the data if one of the grounds provided for by the Regulation applies (right to be forgotten) art. 17;
Restriction of processing when one of the hypotheses provided for by the Regulation applies (right to restriction) art. 18;
To receive the personal data provided to the controller in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and to transmit those data to another controller (right to data portability) art. 20;
Objection to the processing of personal data (right to object) art. 21;
The right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling (automated individual decision-making) art. 22.
The exercise of rights is not subject to any formal constraints and is free of charge.

EXERCISE OF RIGHTS AND REVOCATION OF CONSENT TO PROCESSING

In the event of a request by the Data Subject for information relating to their data – to be formulated via email to the addresses indicated above – the Controller must proceed without delay – unless this proves impossible or involves a disproportionate effort – and, in any case, no later than 1 month from receipt of the request. This period may be extended up to 3 months if necessary, taking into account the complexity and number of requests received by the Controller. In such cases, the Controller will inform you within one month of receiving your request and notify you of the reasons for the extension.
